Assessment

The DEIJ Foundational Assessment is a crucial component for success. The work done in during the assessment is part of every consulting package and is not a standalone package option. Conducting a comprehensive assessment provides Equity Labs with an understanding of how diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ) informs your work, the successes and obstacles that exist, and your team’s readiness level.

Included in the Assessment

  • Connect through virtual or in-person conversations to discuss your organization’s culture and goals around DEIJ.

  • Conduct an organization-wide assessment via survey. Additional assessment components may include:

    • 1:1 interviews

    • Focus groups

    • Dialogue circles

  • Co-create all communications related to the organization-wide assessment and consulting services.

  • Facilitate a virtual or in-person presentation and conversation about the results from the organization-wide assessment.

  • Share recommendations gleaned from assessment data with your organization. Determine next steps based on consultation package choice.
