Professional Biography
Dr. Patricia Gonzalez (She, her, Ella, Dra) was born in South Central, Los Angeles and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico (moved back to South LA at the age of seven). Currently, Dr. Gonzalez serves as Assistant Dean for Inclusive Practice in the College of Arts & Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. Dr. Gonzalez is passionate in her commitment to using social justice as a platform to increase equity in institutions of higher learning and organizations. She is also passionate about uplifting and empowering individuals beyond their circumstances, maximizing individual performance, and instilling self-worth and sense of belonging among all individuals.
She holds a doctorate of education from the University of Southern California in Organizational Change & Leadership, an M.A. in Higher & Postsecondary Education and Administration from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a B.A. in Government and Philosophy from Franklin & Marshall College.
