Our hosts, Ashley Hill and Maria England discuss diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice within the arts & entertainment industry.

About Zoe Rose Pallas

Soprano Zoe Rose Pallas. Zoe Rose received her master’s degree in May of 2022 from the University of Alabama and currently teaches opera at UA. Under the tutelage of Paul Houghtaling, she was most recently seen with the UA Opera Theatre as the title character in Tobias Picker’s Thérèse Raquin, Alcina in Alcina, and Pamina in Die Zauberflöte. Zoe Rose’s other recent performances include the James Toland Vocal Arts competition in San Francisco, in which she won the Bell Encouragement Award, as well as a finalist award in the Montgomery Symphony’s Vann Vocal Institute. She received her undergraduate degree at Florida State University in 2020, where she studied with Dr. Wanda Brister, and was last seen as Young Alyce in Cipullo's Glory Denied.

About Amber Lynn Ashley

Amber Lynn Ashley is an actor in TV and Film media. Amber, born and raised in CO found her love of acting in elementary school during school plays. She studied theatre and photography at The Metropolitan State University of Denver where she got her BA. she studied acting in London and then studied photography and french in Paris. She also started training at the Front Range Acting Studio based in Denver to transition into TV/Film acting. A few roles Amber has played include an officer in “A Deadly Price for Her Pretty Face,” a hippie in “Cry Macho,” a soul sister wanting to dance for Soul Train in “American Soul,” and even a zombie from “The Locals”.

About Rebecca Rouse

Rebecca Rouse, Associate Professor in Game Development at University of Skövde, Sweden. Her research focuses on investigating new forms of storytelling with new technologies such as immersive and responsive systems. Rouse’s applied design and artistic research is complimented by work in critical pedagogies, design methods, queer feminist media theory and history of technology.
