Julia Mantooth

Marketing and Communications Intern

Julia is an undergraduate marketing student at the University of Denver. She is originally from Thornton, Colorado. She became interested in working at Equity Labs because she loved the idea of being a part of an organization that is taking meaningful strides towards creating more equitable workplaces and communities. Being able to apply her marketing education to a position that aligns with her personal values is exactly what she was searching for and ended up finding here at Equity Labs.

What does an equitable world look like to you?

An equitable world looks like every environment, space, or community being comfortable places for individuals to be authentically themselves.

What do participants take away from the Equity Labs? Or, why should anyone participate in the Labs?

Participants are able to take away the necessary tools to achieve and maintain an equitable workplace.

Who is someone you admire and why?

I admire Amanda Gorman. I really appreciate that she is able to utilize her immense creativity and talent to address important issues.

If you could travel anywhere right now, where would you go?

I would go to Mont Saint-Michel, France.
