Professional Biography
Christina is a social program and policy specialist based in New York City. Her areas of expertise include strategic planning, cohort facilitation, and program design, management, and evaluation. She is passionate about engaging in mission-driven community and economic development work. Christina currently serves as a Community Development Officer at Local Initiatives Support Corporation New York (LISC NY), where she manages a portfolio of programs and capacity building initiatives related to workforce development, financial mobility, economic development, and leadership development. Prior to joining LISC NY, Christina served as a Program Officer for LISC Connecticut, where she was responsible for launching a statewide network of Financial Opportunity Centers (FOCs). She initiated the centering of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) into FOC programming via the facilitation of quarterly peer learning sessions for program managers and staff and the development of racial equity focused data collection and management practices. Before joining LISC, Christina worked as a Grants Associate at Open Society Foundations, where she supported the grant portfolio for the foundation’s national and regional offices in Africa and Asia. She also previously worked in policy analysis and program evaluation for city agencies and elected officials in Philadelphia and New York City.
