Transnational Anti-Racist Praxis in Social Work

Join January 19th, 2023, President Smith Haley from the National Association of Black Social Workers, UK Anti-Racism Lead Officer, Shantel Thomas, from the British Association of Social Workers, and Dr. Karen Bullock, Ahearn Endowed Professor of Social Work with Boston College as they discuss their perspectives on the status of anti-racist social work praxis both domestically and internationally. Panelists will also share their insights on the important work being done transnationally, action that’s yet to be taken, what must be addressed to further anti-racist social work in the future, and how we can continue to strengthen transnational relations for even greater impact. Beginning at 10 a.m. MST, don’t miss this virtual panel hosted by the Graduate School of Social Work.
